Two people, one oven, and a table with room for everyone.
Same Table is run by Jaiveer and Raisa Talwar from one home kitchen. It started life in 2020 as Quarantine Cravings: small-batch ready-mixes for popular bakes, developed so that people stuck at home could make their favourite treats easily, without hunting for ingredients.
Each mix was tested over and over — brownies and blondies first, then cookies, cakes, breads and a gluten-free range. Alongside the mixes we kept a site of our favourite recipes, written out in full, which is what this has become.
The mixes were a moment, and the old name belonged to it. What stayed is the reason we bake: so that everyone at the table can have some. That is Same Table — the recipes, exactly as we make them, and the tools to rework any of them for whoever you’re feeding.
2020
The first mixes go out — a brownie, a blondie, a cookie — packed at home and delivered locally.
2021
The range grows to cakes, breads and a gluten-free line, all of it tested batch by batch.
Today
Same Table. Everything we learned, published as recipes anyone can make, plus an adapter for the people who can’t eat them as written.
